Farid Farjad (born 1938 in Tehran, Iran) is an American violinist of Iranian origin. He is regarded as a major interpreter of classical Persian music he combines with influences from classical Western music. Farjad studied the violin at the Conservatory of Music in Tehran. In the wake of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 he left Iran and settled in the United States. His albums are titled Anroozha Vol. 1 Vol. 5.
I have combined the two countries with the landscapes and a bit of the culture, with the birds interwoven. Birds are for me, when they are not captured, a symbol of freedom, which should be there for everyone.
