異鄉人的靈感最初源自李健看過的一個新聞採訪，
一個來到北京工作的建築工人，雖然因為很多北京的大樓出自於自己的勞力而感到自豪，但是記者反問工人自己居住在哪棟大樓時，工人卻回答自己其實連一個棲身之所都沒有，讓李健寫下了「異鄉人」這首現代社會中讓每個人感同身受的一首歌曲....
