Africa is a song written by David Paich and Jeff Porcaro from the American rock group Toto. It was performed by Toto and reached number one on the American Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. It reached number three on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Charts that same year. The song was included in their album Toto IV
